In recent comments users expressed concerns over collecting and sharing their personal information. To be clear, we added a line that says about our not collecting and storing your contacts information.

We want the app icon of themes for BIG! caller ID to be coherent among all themes and developers. If you use Adobe Photoshop, you can use the attached template to quickly create app icon for Google Play page, theme.apk file and thumbnail for BIG! caller ID.

When you open the PSD file, double-click on thumbnails of layers with [EDIT] description (2 embedded files). Drop a screenshot into the last file, save the two opened files, and save the .png file in four sizes:

• 512x512px for Google Play (original size),

• 96x96, 72x72, 48x48px for app icons in different screen densities.

You can download the template here.

Also, check the Themes menu in the app in the next few days - we're in the middle of redesign. You'll love it.

There were big changes in the placement of settings in version 3.0 of BIG! caller ID, so if you're wondering where they are, and how to access them, please check the images below. We tried to stick to ISC/JellyBean Android style guidelines during this redesign, so we hope it's much more simple to use it now.

Let us know in comments what you think.

BIG! caller ID version 3.0 is up and running.

It took us quite a lot of time to finish this large redesign, but we are happy to hear that you like the direction we're going. We're rolling out the update gradually, so you might have to wait a bit more to get it on your device.

New features include:

  • More features of a contacts list: you can call, text, send emails from your friends' profiles.
  • 3 views of contacts list: list with small thumbnails, 2 and 3 photo tiles (choose by tapping the app name in the action bar).
  • We moved Settings and Themes menu to the navigation drawer following the recent guidelines outlined by Google - to access it you need to swipe from left egde of the screen or tap the app icon in the action bar.
  • We added Google+ and Dropbox as sources of photos.
  • Timer is now available in the caller ID screen.
  • You can choose sources of your contacts to be displayed in the list (Google contacts / Facebook / Skype / etc).

I guess it happened to you at least once - you were just about to end a call, but your friend did it first. Now instead of the red end call button you automatically pressed text and were redirected to the sms app.

There's an easy way to avoid it - just move the text button anywhere else on the screen. To do it, go to themes, click on the current theme, and in edit screen swipe left / right to switch to the screen during a call. Then drag the button wherever you want.
